It is going to be another exciting year in the Bloor
East-Rosedale-Yorkville areas. Although there has been a
tremendous amount of press covering the Yorkville condominium
projects, there are a number of exciting new condominium
projects that are currently under construction or planned for
construction over the next few years in the Bloor East
area. At the corner of Yonge and Bloor there is 1 Bloor East.
This project has
caused quite a stir and is badly needed to enhance this
important Toronto intersection. Just south-east of Yonge and
Bloor are 2 projects under construction on Charles between
Church and Yonge, CASA and Bloor Street
Neighbourhood. Just south of Bloor at Jarvis is X
Condominiums and Couture. And finally South of Bloor
on Sherbourne is The 500 on Sherbourne and The
James Cooper Mansion.
Throughout the
year I will be profiling both new condominium buildings and
current buildings located in the Bloor East-Rosedale-Yorkville
area. I thought I would kick the new year off by offering some
sales numbers for 2006 and 2007 covering some of the buildings
in the Bloor East neighbourhood: Yonge/Sherbourne/Bloor/Charles
(please see over).
